SMS Terms
Version: sms-disclosure-2026-09-v1 · Last updated: September 12, 2026
1. What this covers
These SMS Terms describe text messages HomeRustle sends if you choose to turn on SMS notifications in Settings or during phone verification. Turning SMS on is entirely optional and is never required to use HomeRustle, verify your phone number, or make a purchase.
2. What we text you about
If you opt in, HomeRustle may send automated text messages about a mutual connection (both sides expressed interest) or a completed reveal (a connection is unlocked). We do not text you about anything else — no marketing, no digests, no one-off "someone is interested" alerts, and no message-thread notifications by SMS.
3. Frequency, rates, and consent
Message frequency varies with your account's activity. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Consent to receive these texts is not a condition of using HomeRustle, verifying your phone number, or purchasing anything.
4. Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any HomeRustle text to stop receiving SMS notifications immediately. Reply START to resume if you previously stopped and your phone number is still verified on your account. Reply HELP for help — this does not change your notification preference. You can also turn SMS notifications on or off any time in Settings.
5. What we don't put in a text
HomeRustle text messages never include a property address, a specific location, the other party's identity, or your search/listing criteria. Every message links back to the app, where you sign in to see details.
6. Related policies
These SMS Terms supplement, and do not replace, the HomeRustle Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which govern your account and describe how we handle phone numbers and other information generally.
7. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms as the feature evolves. A material change may be reflected by a new disclosure version shown the next time you opt in.
